high school sweethearts lilia and cody planned this epic soirée, all the way from sydney.

these tauranga hunnies were all about their community and bringing so many of their loved ones together to celebrate thiis milestone with them. so it was only right they enlisted some epic tauranga wedding vendors to bring their vision to life, including llhire, nobiggie food, mash selectors on the **vinyl** jams AND THEIR CELEBRANT JO. WHEN I FIRST SPOKE TO LILIA ABOUT THEIR WEDDING PLANS, THEY WERE PLANNING THE WHOLE WEDDING FROM SYDNEY. LILIA TOLD ME ABOUT HER PLANS TO NOT ONLY DESIGN AND MAKE HER WEDDING DRESS, BUT TO MAKE HER BRIDESMAID DRESSES AS WELL!

SINCE LILIA AND CODY ARE LIVING IN AUSTRALIA, IT WAS REALLY IMPORTANT TO THEM THAT THEY WERE ABLE TO SPEND TIME WITH ALL THEIR GUESTS. AFTER ATTENDING FRIENDS WEDDINGS OVER THE YEARS, THEY FELT LIKE THE BEST WAY TO CREATE THE ATMOSPHERE THEY WERE AFTER WAS TO DO AWAY WITH A FORMAL MEAL, AND FIXED SEATING PLANS. INSTEAD THEY EMBRACED food platters and "Walk + fork" along with BAR LEANERS, COUCHES AND BENCHES SPREAD AROUND THE VENUE, SO PEOPLE COULD MOVE AROUND AND MINGLE WITH EACH OTHER. -whilst still having a spot to sit down, have a drink and a bite to eat.

french bay yacht club was the perfect spot for their relaxed and chic wedding. lilia and cody had really emphasised that they wanted their day to just feel like a big party, and enjoy the time they had with all the people who had seen their story unfold over the years.
